Rotary Head

Heavy duty Hydraulic Driven Top Head Rotation Unit having infinitely variable speed (0 to 115 rpm) will be provided. This unit travels on the Mast and is of sturdy construction to absorb sudden shock loads generally encountered during Drilling Operations.

Feed System

Feed system is provided with adequate travel for handling drill pipes & Casing pipes of capacity upto 6 Mt. Long . The  feed and hoist are actuated by a suitable hydraulic cylinder with wire rope and pulley arrangement. The feed system has the following capabilities.

The feed system will be incorporated with Hold back arrangement to control and limit weight on bit, rapid and slow feed arrangement to suit the variable  ground conditions.

Prime Mover

The entire rig unit shall be mounted on the truck, power drawn from the Truck engine with suitable PTO arrangement for the Hydraulic system.

Stabilizers (Jacks)

System consists of four hydraulic leveling jacks with Reverse flow restricted valves to ensure safe operation. Two members are at rear of the rig controlled by a single valve. and two separate valves for the Two jacks at the front of the rig. (Operator side)

Water Injection Pump

The drill rig will be provided with Hydraulically operated triplex plunger pump, for injecting water/foam with necessary piping and flow control valve.

The Drill Rig is equipped with Hydraulically operated breakout wrench for breaking drill pipes.

Manually operated single rod changer will be provided for changing the drill pipes. Hydraulically operated auxiliary winch of capacity 1.0 ton is mounted on mast to handle the casing pipes, drill pipes and other handling tools.

Air Compressor and Mounting

Air compressor of following capacity  is required for DTH Drilling.

Air compressor shall be mounted on the same truck on which the rig is mounted (single unit).

Air Line Lubricator

Capacity 1100 CFM@ 300 PSI Make Reputed Make/Model Tank capacity 13.5 LTS.
